Planned Street Closures
Planned Street ClosuresThe City of Fredericksburg diligently tries to notify citizens in advance of planned street closures in their area. Emergencies do not always allow for this advanced notification. However, crews will work with citizens who reside on the affected streets to allow access to their homes and/or businesses in either case.
We ask citizens to please take caution in the areas of street closures as to allow for the safety of City crews, contractors, and other citizens. We also ask to please be respectful of barricades and obey traffic control signs and devices.

In order for crews to repaint the bridge railing, a portion of the 200 block of North Crockett Street (from Austin to Mistletoe) will be closed to traffic daily, beginning Monday, August 27, 2018 through Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Closures will take place daily from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m. The streets will be reopen daily.
The intersections of Austin/Crockett and Mistletoe/Crockett will remain open.
|Post Oak Rd||500||Whitney to Fulton||Monday, August 27th||8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.|| Due to water utility construction, the 500 block of Post Oak Road (from Fulton to Whitney) will be closed to traffic today, Monday, August 27, 2018. This closure will take place from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. This is scheduled to be a one day closure.
The intersections of Whitney/Post Oak and Fulton/Post Oak will remain open.
