Dog and Cat

The annual rabies vaccination clinic dates have been set.  Citizens can bring their cats and dogs to receive their vaccinations on Saturday, January 27 and Saturday, February 3.  Clinic hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day, at the Street Department’s shop area at the Consolidated Warehouse located at 233 Friendship Lane.

Rabies vaccinations will cost $9.00 per pet. Microchipping will be available for $10.00. Additional vaccinations will be available at discounted rates. This year, Dr. Neal Eckert, DVM, from Fredericksburg Veterinary Center will be on location January 27 while Dr. Travis Halfmann, DVM, from Gillespie Veterinary Center will be there on February 3. 

Cats brought in for vaccinations should be in pet carriers. Dogs should be secured on leashes.
