The City of Fredericksburg is taking the threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously and wants to keep the public informed with the most up-to-date information possible. City Manager, Kent Myers, will be recording daily updates that will be accessible to the public by calling (830)307-3680.
“The current COVID-19 situation is extremely fluid at this point. It is of utmost importance that pertinent information is shared with our community. The safety, health, and welfare of the community and our employees is paramount,” stated City Manager, Kent Myers.
The City of Fredericksburg will also be limiting employee contact with the public. While utility customers will not be able to access City Hall to pay their bill, customers can pay online or utilize the drop box outside City Hall or the drop box in the Broadway Bank drive through location. Customers needing to speak with City departments should contact City Hall at (830)997-7521 to make an appointment or attempt to solve any issues over the phone or by email. This includes contacting Development Services for building permits. The City of Fredericksburg will continue to provide City services including electric, water, wastewater, and sanitation services to the community.
The City’s website also contains helpful information at www.fbgtx.org/coronavirus. City staff and local officials will continue to meet at least weekly to share information and updates as they are available.
