Tom Musselman

             As your City Councilman and Mayor Pro-Tem I am proud of my community and am honored to have served it and its citizens for the past four years.  I am employed at Fredericksburg High School, where I have taught for the last fifteen years.  I teach Advanced Placement History, A.P. U.S. Government and Politics, Sociology, and Economics. I hold a B.A. degree in History and a Master’s in Education.  During the  1970’s- 80’s I worked as a Main Street businessman.

Born in Houston, I have been a resident of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County for the past thirty-five years.  I am 57 years old and have been married to my wife, Kelly, an active community volunteer, for twenty-seven years.  We have a 24 year old son, Karl-Thomas, a UT Austin graduate.

I am a Rotarian and member of Leadership Gillespie County 2008.  I am also the City Council liaison to the Gillespie County Historical Society and a member of the Texas Tech Hill Country Board of Advisors.

As your City Councilman, I believe that communication is key between the city and its citizens. Interest in the issues and involvement in the community is what makes our town the great place it is!  I encourage you to continue to contact me with your thoughts on any city topic, via email, phone or in person.  Your input and feedback is appreciated and needed in our efforts to work together, now and in the future.  With your help, I am committed to making Fredericksburg the best it can be.
