1. Implement volunteer recruitment/retention program that will increase the number of volunteers, bring more involvement in FVFD from the membership and explore options for incentives for membership. 2. Create opportunities to enhance/boast the FVFD image to the citizens/county residents. 3. Improve SFFMA certification levels within the department through direct training conducted on a regular basis. 4. Develop and write a 5 year business plan 5. Write and put in place SOG’s, train volunteers on SOG’s, document training by acknowledgement. 6. Provide leadership/officer development to members. 7. Purchase wildfire PPE. 8. Begin process of documenting need, advocating need for training facility. 9. Purchase and put in service a new type 6 brush truck. 10.
