THE CITY OF FREDERICKSBURG ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT is accepting applications for Lineman's Helper. Workweek is four (4) 10-hour days. We will train the successful candidate who is willing and eager to learn and work hard. The successful applicant must be capable of promoting through all aspects of the Lineman apprentice program which includes: one (1) year Lineman Helper, four (4) year apprentice program, and be able to achieve Lineman certification through the US Department of Labor. Existing linework experience and applicable training classes may apply to apprentice program. Applications may be picked up at City Hall, and returned to Wynell Herbort at City Hall, 126 West Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX 78624, or may be downloaded by clicking here*. Resumes will be accepted, but not as a substitute for a completed application. Position open until filled.
