CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL FOOD SAFETY INSPECTOR: The Gillespie County Health Division is accepting applications for a full time Certified Professional Food Safety Inspector. The person selected for this position will be responsible for performing routine inspections on local food establishments, daycares, public schools, and festivals. The position reports to the Gillespie County Sanitarian. Applicant must be a certified professional food safety inspector, or obtain certification within one year of hire. Requires a bachelors degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 30 hours of basic science or natural science. Must have extensive knowledge and experience in food safety and food service applications. Excellent benefit package.
