The Quarterly Report of Hotel Occupancy Tax and the remittance of taxes are due by the last day of the month following the end of each quarter.

City of Fredericksburg Approves Agreement with Avenu Insights & Analytics 

The City of Fredericksburg has approved an agreement with Avenu Insights & Analytics (Avenu) to provide Sales and Use Tax discovery and recovery services, and to administer the Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) and Short-term Rental (STR) Ordinances.  Services provided by Avenu will include: Sales and Use Tax review to ensure proper application of Local Sales and Use Tax law; Hotel Occupancy Tax review, recovery, and collections; and processing Short-term Rental applications, renewals, and payments.

Avenu has extensive experience in similar compliance review and administration work throughout the United States and were recently listed in the prestigious GovTech 100 List for the second year in a row.  They have performed similar work for municipalities such as the City of Kerrville, City of Beaumont, City of Houston, City of Dallas, City of El Paso, City of Irving, City of McAllen, and others.
