Kid Fish is scheduled for January 22-24, 2021 in Live Oak Creek at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, located at 432 Lady Bird Drive. The creek just north of the bridge to the golf course will be stocked with rainbow trout. In order to give the trout time to acclimate to the water, we ask that you do not begin to fish until Friday, January 22 and encourage you to continue fishing through Sunday, January 24.
Please remember to bring your own fishing equipment and supplies. Due to COVID-19, there will not be any booths or educational stations this year. As a reminder, anyone over the age of 17 must have a valid fishing license. For more information on licensing, please visit Texas Parks & Recreation's website.
For questions, please call Park Headquarters at 830-997-4202.
