Need Mulch?
The City of Fredericksburg utilizes materials processed from chipper and leaf collection operations to make mulch and compost. These products are available at the Sanitary Landfill for the following:
- Single Ground Mulch - FREE
- Double Ground Mulch - $10 per 3-cubic yard bucket
- Compost - $20 per cubic yard
The City of Fredericksburg Sanitary Landfill is located at 204 Landfill Lane in Fredericksburg. Hours of operation are:
- Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
- Saturday: 8am - 1pm
- Sunday / Holidays: Closed
