    The Fredericksburg Farmers Market (FFM) is a weekly event that brings locally grown food to the community. Approximately 25 vendors participate each week. The FFM is maintained by a group of volunteers whose goal is to bring good local food to the community, help our local farmers, ranchers and wineries sell product, and further promote Fredericksburg as a culinary arts center.

  2. PUBLIC MEETING: Town Pool Splashpad Options

    July 29, 2021, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Tatsch House at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

    The Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club is proposing to fund a splash pad at Tony Knopp Town Pool. The proposal includes three options: option #1: leave Town Pool as is; a pool with green space and no splashpad; option #2: add a splashpad in the current green space behind Town Pool; option #3: convert/retrofit Town Pool into a larger splashpad and keep the current green space. Two public meetings have been scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2021 and Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., at the Tatsch House, located inside Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, 432 Lady Bird Drive (Tatsch House is directly across from the entrance to Park Pool). The meetings will start with a presentation and end with a question and answer period to receive feedback on the three options.

  3. Hill Country Film Festival – Free, Family-Friendly Screening

    An outdoor family-friendly screening of SPY KIDS (directed by Robert Rodriguez, U.S.) will be presented by the Hill Country Film Festival and the Texas Film Commission on Thursday, July 29, 2021, to celebrate the commission’s 50th anniversary and to commemorate Fredericksburg’s 175th anniversary and July theme, “Lasting Family Heritage.” This free screening will take place at the Marktplatz at approximately 8:30 p.m. The Hill Country Film Festival is hosted by the Hill Country Film Society, a 501c3 organization that encourages discovery through visual storytelling, creating experiences that educate, inspire and engage.
