Fredericksburg, Texas – The City of Fredericksburg, in partnership with South Texas Blood & Tissue, will host a community blood drive on Thursday, March 26, from 1-6 p.m.

The event at Marktplatz will feature the bloodmobile parked on Austin Street and aims to support local patients in need of life-saving blood donations.

Prospective donors are asked to sign up at: https://donor.southtexasblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/152204.

Donors will receive a free t-shirt.

To ensure an efficient process, donors will be asked to complete a health questionnaire sent via text on the morning of the drive before their appointment.

The blood drive will be one of three events on Marktplatz on March 26, including the seventh-annual Touch-A-Truck event (3:30-6:30 p.m.) and the first spring Fredericksburg Farmers Market (4-7 p.m.).
