Fredericksburg, Texas – The City of Fredericksburg recently elevated Aaron Anderegg to Information Technology (IT) Director.

For the last seven years, Anderegg has served in the city’s IT Department, most recently as Assistant IT Director. He will now oversee all aspects of IT operations and strategy for the city and its departments.  

Anderegg will lead a staff of three, while developing organization-wide policies, managing projects, ensuring infrastructure is secure and providing support for all city employees. He is also tasked with budgeting for, communicating out and reporting on the department’s efforts.  

Before joining the City of Fredericksburg, Anderegg was the Technology Director for Hunt ISD, where he managed the IT infrastructure and services. He has spent over 10 years in the IT field. 

Anderegg is married and has four children, all boys. In his free time, he enjoys camping, gardening, and exercising.
